Rather than jumping straight into teaching, we begin by understanding where the learner currently is. This is done through a collaborative meeting with the student and their parents.
During the first lesson we:

- review any old tests, reports, and/or relevant teacher feedback

How an Online Tutoring Lesson Works
Each lesson is interactive rather than lecture-based.
With both mathematics tutoring and English tutoring, students actively participate by:

Flexible Scheduling
Lessons can fit around school, sport, and family commitments. We have as much availability as possible, but please note that bookings are taken on a first come, first serve basis. As the lessons are 1:1, we can only cater to roughly 3 – 4 students per day. Any bookings are only confirmed as booked once full payment has been received. Until such time, time slots will not be reserved without payment.

Do parents need to attend?
Parents are encouraged to be there for the first trial session, and are welcome during the first official lesson should the student require their presence, although most students, regardless of age, prefer working independently with the tutor.

We support learners following the CAPS curriculums and are able to assist any learners who will write IEB exams as well as the National Exams. We can also adapt lessons to individual school requirements where appropriate.
